Hollywood, FL is a great and diverse place for any vacation. Hollywood has easy access by air, land, and sea from Miami, Ft Lauderdale, and many other adjacent beach cities.

With a spectacular climate and its proximity to sandy beaches and waterways, Hollywood Beach offers a unique selection of leisure activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy, including golf, tennis, scuba diving, kiteboarding/kitesurfing, boating, deep-sea fishing, casinos, restaurants, nightlife, horse and greyhound racing, shopping, and state-of-the-art performing arts venues and museums with events going almost year-round.

Hollywood, Florida was founded in 1925 and located in Broward County between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. The city has an estimated population of more than 145,000 residents. Florida’s 9th largest city, Hollywood has an estimated area of 30.8 square miles of which 11.23% of it is water for all types of sports and entertainment on the ocean. The Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport located in Dania Beach 3 miles from the Ft. Lauderdale downtown and 21 miles north of Miami serves the city of Hollywood. This is the airport with the fastest growth rate and 23rd busiest airport in the United States.

Port Everglades is the second busiest cruise port in the world. It is located in part within the city’s boundaries. Important roads and highways, such as Interstate 95 or I-95, the Florida Turnpike, Tri-County Commuter Rail, and two major railroads, connect the city in a north and south direction. The Miami International Airport (MIA) and the Port of Miami are less than 25 miles away, providing further opportunities for Hollywood residents and companies to have access to the global marketplace. The region is served by a fundamental higher educational infrastructure, which includes Florida International University Biscayne campus, and the University of Miami.
